• Common side effects: Headache (8-25%), pharyngitis (i.e. sore throat) (5%-27%) 
• Serious side effects: Secondary hypocortisolism (symptoms of nausea, vomiting, weakness, fatigue, fever, low blood pressure), cataract (clouding of the lens of the eye), glaucoma (damage to the nerve of the eye)

• Who cannot use this medication: worsening of asthma that does not respond to standard treatments, allergies to beclomethasone
